Seminal emo rockers Weezer this past week announced their latest project, The White Album, and also released their first single of 2016: "King of the World." Not only is this new song their first released of the new year, it's also their first music video! Check out this rocking song right here:

Have you been taking advantage of the revitalized "G.O.O.D. Fridays" from Kanye West? If not, you should definitely check out the great collaboration between West and Kendrick Lamar: "No More Parties in LA." Check it out right here!

Also pretty exciting for the hip-hop world this week was the release of Future's new mixtape, Purple Reign. You can stream this new mixtape over at Consequence of Sound.

Not only were we treated to a great new track from A$AP Mob with "Yamborghni High" this week, A$AP Rocky also shared a great remix of Drake's "Wu Tang Forever." You can check out our previous coverage of these songs right here!

Speaking of remixes, Erykah Badu took on Kanye West's 2016 single "Real Friends" this week. Have a listen right here!

Where there are remixes there are also covers. Check out Jeff Buckley's cover of Bob Dylan's "Just Like a Woman" and Bonnie "Prince" Billy's cover of Prince's "The Cross."

Australian producer Flume shared a new single off of his 2016 album Skin this past week with a new collaboration with singer Kai. The infectious new single is entitled "Never Be Like You" and you can listen to it right here!

Chairlift, the Brooklyn based electronica duo, are set to take over dance floors in 2016, as evident in this week's release, "Moth to the Flame." You can listen to it on Apple Music right now.

We think Yuck is going to reclaim the throne of garage rock bands in 2016. If you don't trust us on this one, listen to the UK outfit's newest song, "Hearts in Motion," off of the 2016 record Stranger Things, right here:
