The attention will be given to the lineups for the larger festivals across the United States this spring and summer such as Bonnaroo, Coachella, Governors Ball, Panorama, Lollapalooza and others. However it is some of the other smaller festivals that can bring in some excellent lineups that top the major festivals. Boston Calling has done just that with its 2017 billing, tabbing Tool, Mumford & Sons, Chance The Rapper, The xx and Bon Iver to headline the festival.

Other notable names on the bill include Major Lazer, Weezer, Sigur Rós, The 1975, Solange, Cage The Elephant and Run The Jewels.

The undercard is filled with talent as well once you get past the top three lines.

The festival will bring in critics darlings such as Mitski, Car Seat Headrest and Whitney, in addition to others like Danny Brown, Oh Wonder, Francis & The Lights, Russ, Frightened Rabbit, Flatbush Zombies and Mac Demarco, who just finished a new album.

There are some names that appear on a lot of festival lineups such as Major Lazer, The xx, Chance The Rapper, Cage The Elephant, Car Seat headrest and Mitski. However they are one of the few festivals to tab Solange, which seems surprising given how well A Seat At The Table was received. Boston Calling is the second announced show for Tool this summer, following Governors Ball, in what could be a comeback year for the rock outfit.

Boston Calling will take place May 26-28 at its new location, the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Massachusetts. Three day general admission and VIP passes are on sale today through the festival's website. Find the complete lineup below.
