Forming in 2002, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival is an four day festival at the Great Stage Park in Manchester, Tennessee. The festival features music of all genres with the best acts from rock, rap and hip hop, jazz, country, pop, EDM and more!

Bonnaroo was founded in 2002 by Ashley Capps, Kerry Black, Rick Farman, Richard Goodstone and Jonathan Mayers. Interestingly enough, the founders of the festival chose the name Bonnaroo because it is a Creole slang word meaning "a really good time."

Bonnaroo is actually much more than just a music and arts festival. Bonnaroo is also a very big force helping with recycling and sustainability. In fact, Bonnaroo has established many green activities during the festival most notably Planet Roo.

Earlier this year, Bonnaroo announced the lineup for their 2017 festivities. The absolutely stacked lineup included massive names like U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Weeknd, Chance The Rapper, Major Lazer, Flume, Lorde, The xx, Travis Scott and many more!

Today, Bonnaroo 2017 officially kicks off and it is shaping up to be an absolutely spectacular festival!
