Katy Perry is blessing her fans with a new LP, Witness.

The 15-song project which released today features a variety of artists. Her artist collaborations includes Nicki Minaj, Skip Marley and Migos. This will be Perry's latest project since the release of her last project, PRISM. iTunes described her latest project as, "Her fourth album turns out to be an exploration of much more than just her social conscience. The personal depictions of empowerment, vulnerability, and defiance unveiled on PRISM continue here. "Power" confronts misogyny by referencing her own upbringing, haters are dismissed with delicious swagger on "Swish Swish," and "Save as Draft" candidly depicts the struggle to let go of a damaging relationship. Repurposing the light, shade, clicks, and rumbles of club culture into futuristic pop, Witness is as progressive and purposeful as she's ever sounded."

The project seems to be quite promising. Perry spoke on how she gets her song inspiration. She opened up to W Magazine by stating that everyday situations and people help her write music. She said, "I get my inspiration for songs from watching everybody else. So like, for instance, you know when you're at school, and you go on the playground for recess, and all of your friends are doing all kinds of different things. One person is playing soccer, one person is playing tag, there's a group of girls in the corner. Sometimes, I just sit back and I just watch all that go on, and make stories up about what's happening in those different groups, or about those different people. I'll make stories about people that I love, or I'll make stories about people that've hurt my feelings, or I'll make stories that are just for me. For instance, "Roar," is because sometimes I get upset, right? And sometimes you need to like, cheer yourself up."
