Gwen Stefani Celebrates Son Zuma's Ninth Birthday With An Inspired Harry Potter Party
Gwen Stefani really knows how to make a head-turner as she celebrated her son Zuma's ninth birthday party in a Harry Potter style, complete with all its main characters. Zuma, 9 is the second child of Gwen Stefani with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale and has two more siblings, Kingston, 11 and Apollo, 3. The party was attended by Stefani's current beau, country singer and "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton; apparently, Rossdale was not able to attend the said event.
The Harry Potter theme party of Zuma was complete in all its characters and goodies, with the special participation of Harry Potter in a life-size cardboard cutout as reported by CBS 8 San Diego. Other Standees were Severus Snape and Draco Malfoy together with all the goodies lined up at the table, all in connection with the fantasy novel. Gwen Stefani even has a makeshift kind of what was called the magical Platform 9 ¾ that leads the way into the house.
Everything was just designed perfectly even the decorative fruit bowl with a carved pineapple-shaped-to an owl, who knows it might be Hedwig, Gizmo or Hermes. Hanged and decorated outside are the flags of the four Hogwarts houses from the film anthology: Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw and Salazar Slytherin hang alongside bundles of balloons. E! Online has noted to details the three-layer golden birthday cake with the Hogwarts logo and the enchanted hat that sorts the Hogwarts students on top.
Showing the span of Gwen Stefani's backyard, a huge water slide was set up for those who want to enjoy the California summer day. Stefani was also candid enough to pose with some party goers while the food and souvenirs at the table add up to the festive mood. It is truly a day of fun for Zuma who resembles a lot like his favourite student magician with his eyeglasses as he celebrates an advance party as he turns nine on August 21.
