Alamo Drafthouse prepares its sci-fi viewers for the anticipated sequel "Blade Runner 2049" which will show on October 6 by showing on its prestigious theaters "Blade Runner: The Final Cut 4K." Alamo Drafthouse theaters are known for its strict implementation of cinema going etiquettes like maintaining silence during the film and absolutely the prohibition of mobile use inside the cinema. For this show, all 28 locations of Alamo Drafthouse across the United States will have the screening of Ridley Scott's creation on August 31.

"Blade Runner: The Final Cut 4K" will have some of the revisions that Scott always do for "Blade Runner" along with the removal of the narration and the "happy" ending of the theatrical release as Digital Trends reports. Going back to its release in 1982, "Blade Runner" is a very high-tech movie, considering that it has already envisioned what 2019 will be. The details were strange but accurate and much more appreciated with a 4K resolution.

With the upcoming sequel, the screening of "Blade Runner: The Final Cut 4K" in Alamo Drafthouse is just as timely as it will be released on 4K UHD, 4K UHD Special Edition, and Blu-rayTM Steelbook. Based on a report from Entertainment Focus, Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will be selling these products in September and November for the Steelbook, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the sci-fi classic. Luckily, for those who cannot watch it on August 31, "Blade Runner" can be watched over and over even while talking and using mobile, right at the comfort of home.

"Blade Runner: The Final Cut" 4K is more enhanced pertaining to its special effects with more and extended dialogues from the characters. Previously directed by Sir Ridley Scott and starring Harrison Ford as Rick Deckard, "Blade Runner 2049" will be directed by Denis Villeneuve of the "Arrival." Ryan Gosling as LAPD Officer K will work with Ford as they go on a mission for the Armed Forces.
