The long wait for “Outlander” Season 3 is almost over even as STARZ has been releasing trailers to tide the show’s loyal fans until the premiere. The first of the official trailers titled “Found Love” was released last month.

Although it teased the reunion of Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), it also leaves many fans heartbroken that they will indeed have to spend their lives apart. Two hundred years away from each other to be exact.

In “Outlander” Season 3, Jamie remains in the 18 century dealing with the fallout of his debacle at the Battle of Culloden and after sending Claire back to the 20th century to protect their unborn child. She will try to make a name in the fashion industry as she brings up Brianna in her own timeline.

Jamie and Claire will be reunited eventually but it will happen in the later part of “Outlander” Season 3. However, both Heughan and Balfe have teased fans that they should expect more steamy scenes between their characters in their reunion.

Speaking of which, fans who have read the Diana Gabaldon “Outlander” book series from which the show was based on would know that their reunion will be at the Carfax Close printshop. Scenes from the trailer of “Outlander” Season 3 seem to be a lead-up to a similar reunion according to TV Line. Not only are the shop sign and the bell there, but Claire’s expectant but worried face are signs that the same thing will happen in the show as in the book series’ third book titled “Voyager.”

As previously announced, “Outlander” Season 3 will pick up from the events of the Season 2 finale. Claire will be back with Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies) while pregnant with Jamie’s child reports Deadline. In the trailer, Frank could be seen cuddling the baby Brianna and looking happy. But, there is also a shot of him later looking rough as Claire seems to be fuming.

The first official trailer of “Outlander” Season 3 also shows Jamie being arrested upon his return to Lallbroch. There are also scenes of his adventures with the character, Lord John Grey, portrayed by new cast addition David Berry.

A lot of drama is expected to happen when “Outlander” Season 3 begin airing on September 10. Most of it will come from Frank as he raises a daughter that is not his own while Claire is pining for her true love Jamie who is two centuries away.
