Heavy metal rock icon Tommy Lee allegedly got into a physical altercation on Monday, March 5, inside his home in Calabasas, California.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff Department responded to an incident at the musician's home. The fight, which broke out for unknown reasons, left Tommy with a bloody lip. He was transported to the hospital that day.
Authorities say that Brandon, Tommy's 21-year-old son with actress Pamela Anderson, is a person of interest. An investigation is still ongoing.
Family Feud
In a now-deleted post on Instagram, the rocker showed fans his bloodied lip, hinting that it was his son who knocked him down and caused the injury.
"My heart is broken," he wrote on the caption. "You can give your kids everything they could ever want in their entire lives and they can still turn against you. Good job Brandon! Great son."
However, a source revealed to TMZ that Brandon was only defending himself from Tommy who was allegedly drunk the night of the incident. Immediately after its publication, Tommy responded to the report and insisted that his son attacked him without being provoked.
"Hey TMZ maybe get your facts straight before you go reporting bullshit," the Motley Crue drummer tweeted. "My fiance and I were in bed when my son busted into the room and assaulted me. I asked him to leave the house and he knocked me unconscious. He ran away from the police. THAT's the truth."
Tommy Lee Versus Pamela Anderson
The altercation happened shortly after Tommy blasted Pier Morgan for his interview with Brandon's mother, Anderson. The rockstar criticized the former Baywatch star for rehashing old issues for attention. He added that his ex-wife continues to text him every day, asking him to get back together.
The two were married in 1995, a few days after they met. They have two sons together, namely Brandon and Dylan. They divorced three years later in 1998.
Tommy announced his engagement to actress Brittany Furlan on Feb. 14 this year.
Unfazed, Morgan told Tommy that if he has issues with what Anderson said about their marriage, he should talk to her. The talk show host also invited Tommy to appear on television and air his side of what happened decades ago.
Tommy was jailed for six months after pleading guilty to a spousal battery charge during the late 90s.
