Miranda Lambert's B&B - The Ladysmith
When the news broke over the summer that Miranda Lambert was opening a Bed and Breakfast in Tishomingo, Oklahoma, right across the street from her Pink Pistol store. fans wondered how much of her style would make it into the new venture. Now that The Ladysmith is open and booking guests, there is no doubt that Lambert's signature style is the backbone of every room.

Each of the eight guestrooms in the historic 113 year old brownstone feature a style that she calls, "Shabby Chic meets Rock & Roll." The Judge, Knaughty Pine and Flutterby are the upstairs rooms while Laci Jill, Curtian Call, Working Mans Blues, After Midnight and The Sun Never Sets are all downstairs. The names of each room give a hint of the decor.

The building that has been home to everything from law offices to beauty shops to grocery stores also features a cozy dining hall, an elegant tea room decorated with vintage yellow wood from one of the oldest homes in Tishomingo, a fully-stocked bar that features wines from The Red 55 Winery as well as Texas- and Oklahoma-made Vodkas, two funky lounges, and in mid-October, a ballroom with room for 60-80 guests will open, completing the package.

Rooms run for between $200 and $320 a night and there is plenty of stuff to do in Tishomingo to round out your trip. Miranda's Pink Pistol store is open 7 days a week; there are three casinos nearby (Winstar World Casino in Thackerville, Choctaw Casino in Durant, and Artesian Casino in Sulphur); the Blue River Public Fishing and Hunting Area, the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge and Lake Texoma all offer plenty of chances to get back to nature; the Chickasaw Council House Museum and the Chickasaw National Capitol are filled with learning opportunities and the Tishomingo Golf Club is a 9-hole course that begs to be played.
