More than two and a half years after her death, pop superstar Whitney Houston will be releasing her very first live album, titled Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances. The news came in an interview earlier this morning (Sept. 16) on NBC's TODAY with legendary record executive Clive Davis, who discovered Houston in the early '80s.

"She was without question the greatest vocalist in the world," Davis told TODAY's Hoda Kotb, "I want history to know that...there was no one like her."

Whitney Houston Live, which is set for release on Nov. 10, will compile 16 live recordings of Houston throughout different points in her career, including her 1985 performance of "You Give Good Love" on the Tonight Show, her 1991 performance of "The Star Spangled Banner" at Super Bowl XXV, and her 1994 performance of "I Will Always Love You" at the Concert for a New South Africa. A live DVD will also be included, featuring footage of 19 of Houston's most famous performances. Davis compiled the recordings on Whitney Houston Live with the help of Houston's mother Cissy.

"It was a marvel that she was as powerful and as incredible as she was," Davis added, "but bittersweet that she died too young."

Houston passed away on Feb. 11, 2012 at age 48 as the result of drug use and accidental drowning. Her last studio album was 2009's I Look To You, though she also contributed songs to the soundtrack to the 2012 film Sparkle, which was released after her death.
