On September 19, Ed Sheeran tweeted that he was shooting the video for his single "Thinking Out Loud," that day, and now he's revealed more about what fans can expect. In an interview with MTV, he said the romantic ballad off his most recent album, X, will be "simple" and "extravagant" at the same time. "It's the best video I've ever done and probably ever will do," Ed told MTV. "It's incredible, and I don't say that lightly. It's legit."

Sheeran was secretive about the full details, but did give out a few hints.

"We shot it on 16mm film, which we couldn't do a whole lot of, it's all one shot at the moment. I think we might do cutaways and stuff, and I learned to do something very different," he said. "I want the video to come out and everybody to be like, 'What the hell is he doing?' Just something that is going to shock you."

He later added that he has been training "five hours a day for the video" while he has been on tour. "Not like sit-ups," he clarified. "But it is physical, it's about learning how to pick up stuff and throw it. It's interesting."

What could this mean for a music video? We'll just have to wait and find out once some visuals get released. Sheeran has already dropped videos for "Sing" and "Don't" off his latest album.
