Prince has always been a little bit of an oddball - and we're not just talking about the Fred Armisen spoof on Saturday Night Live. To help promote his new albums ART OFFICIAL AGE and PLECTRUMEKLECTRUM, the "U KNOW" singer finally joined the world of Facebook and generously hosted a fan Q&A... kind of.

As in, after three hours he answered a single fan's technical question. And 21 hours later, that's all he answered. Best part is, it wasn't even a Prince-related question; the inquiry had to do with why music should be listened to at 432 Hz. "Greetings my dear Brother... Please address the importance of ALL music being tuned to 432hz sound frequencies??? Thanks in advance!!! Warmest regards, Emanuel...," fan Dee J FoGee asked.

Prince then answered with a link about "The Gold Standard," explaining the reasoning behind this frequency, before promptly logging off Facebook again.

Despite over 3000 comments on the Q&A Facebook status, questions from fans about Prince's new albums, his music videos, lengthy career and a possible tour all went unanswered.

Apparently, all Prince really cares about is that you listen to music, any music, at the technically correct frequency.

Awesome.

Prince joined Facebook and attempted to engage with his fans in support of his new albums ART OFFICIAL AGE and PLECTRUMELECTRUM. The two new albums are his first releases in over four years. His last album, 20Ten was released in July 2010.
