Desperation Band - Banner
Recorded live during the July 2014 Desperation Conference, the youth worship band from the Colorado Springs based New Life Church says that their new project, Banner, is meant to share "a deeply-rooted belief that the God of ages past is alive, well and moving mightily among people who are desperately committed to Him." After one listen, it's easy to say "Mission accomplished."

Delivering an energy that can only be found where large groups of people are worshiping together, the songs on Banner are all rooted in Christ and that spirit carries you far beyond the musicianship and voices. Now don't get me wrong, both are top-notch, but not all great musicians or singers can take you right to the Throne and that is one thing that Desperation Band does every time they take the stage. Each and every song completely weds praise and worship with awe and love our of Savior.

GENRE: Praise & Worship

Bottom line: the songs found on Banner nurture a relationship with Jesus, regardless of the age of the listener or the stage of their walk. Each and every note honors God and magnifies His love for us.
