Opera's favorite, Plácido Domingo, reigns supreme as a Spanish tenor. And now, Domingo and Sony Classical are proud to present the singer's next release, Encanto del Mar, available October 14.

A worldly musician, the tenor will bring some of the most beloved Mediterranean songs to a single disc release. Featuring a small group of musicians on Spanish guitar, bandoneon, clarinet, saxophone, violin, cello, bass, harp and persussion, it's Domingo like you've never heard him before.

Recorded right by the Mediterranean, in Valencia, Spain, the disc is a wonderful showcase for Domingo's versatility. Having a very specific attention to detail, the melody lines are something to be excited for.

The album was produced by Robert Sadin and brings a beautiful hue to the track of the already powerful singer. Per a release, tracks from the LP include "Mediterráneo" (Spanish); "Estate" (Italian); "En Méditerranée" (French); "Aranjuez" (Spanish); "Anghjulina" (Corsican); "Del Cabello Mas Sutil" (Spanish); "Adio Kerida" (Ladino); "Non Potho Reposare" (Sardinian); "Layla, layla" (Hebrew); "Torna a Surriento" (Neapolitan); "Reginella" (Neapolitan); "To Yasemi" (Greek-Cypriot); "Plaisir d'Amour" (French).
