Country superstar Jason Aldean is back on top of the country charts with his sixth studio album Old Boots, New Dirt, and he recently announced an extension to his Burn It Down tour for next year.

The new stretch of shows will kick off Feb. 12 in Greenville, South Carolina, and the singer will touch down in 22 additional cities, Rolling Stone Country reports.

"The tour is doing well, so you want to expand it and hit some cities that you didn't hit on the first leg of it — that's the biggest thing," Aldean said. "Every year you try to hit the major markets, for the most part. We were able to do that, but there were a few places we weren't able to hit on this run."

Most dates and venues have yet to be revealed, but check out the cities below.

The "Amarillo Sky" singer added that the new shows will give him a chance to shake up his set list.

"The people who think they have the worst seats, we're trying to figure out how to try to make them feel like they're on stage with us," he said. "We want to make everybody there feel like they're in the front row."

According to Aldean's Billboard chart history, Old Boots, New Dirt is dominating all over, currently sitting on top of Billboard's 200, Top Country, Independent and Canadian charts.

Tickets for Aldean's next run of shows are currently on sale.
