The pair who brought two rowdy cousins in The Dukes of Hazzard to life in the '80s, John Schneider and Tom Wopat, teamed up for Christmas album that will be out later this month.

Home for Christmas will include 18 holiday tracks mostly sung as duets, Rolling Stone Country reports. Schneider and Wopat will each have solo moments on the album, out October 28. While most songs on the album are holiday classics (see tracklist below), Wopat is credited for writing "Johnny, It's Cold Outside."

As RSC points out, Wopat worked on Broadway before landing the role of Luke Duke in 1979. Wopat returned to the stage in the '90s, getting a Tony nod for his performance in Annie Get Your Gun. Schneider worked as a singer in the '80s and scored a handful of country hits.

"I think this is a fresh take on the Christmas album," Wopat in a statement. "Jazz fans and serious musicians will appreciate what we've done with theses tunes. Our arranger John Oddo has a true affinity for that classic '50s and '60s sound. And, of course, I love singing with John Schneider. The timbre of our voices match, the harmonies blend so easily. Plus, he's a barrel of laughs."

"Tom and I really bring out the best in each other," Schneider added. "We may not sound alike when we talk, but when we sing sometimes you can't tell us apart. In the studio, I put him first and he puts me first. If that's not friendship, I don't know what is."
