Darius Rucker is giving away an autographed, handwritten copy of the lyrics to "Homegrown Honey" and a merch bundle. All you have to do is go to his website, click on your favorite lyric from the song and then share it with your friends with the hashtag  #HomegrownHoney.

In a recent interview with Country Weekly, the singer talked about missing his own "Homegrown Honey" and his kids while he's on the road. He shared, "We want our kids to grow up as normal as possible, so we’re not going to home school and take them on the road with me, or anything like that. They go to public school. So when I’m on the road and they’re in school, I really miss them. I love being a dad."

In another interview, this time with The Boot, Rucker talked about something even more personal - being a black man singing country music. He credited Charley Pride with paving the way for him. With Darius being the first black man to hit #1 on the Hot Country Chart since Charley, there has been a long dry spell in between. But for Rucker, the color of his skin has nothing to do with the type of music he likes to listen to or sing. "The music I like or the football teams I like or the food I eat has nothing to do with me being black. I’m black because I was born this way, I’m proud of it. Thank God I am who I am." He continued, sharing how many times he's heard from black fans who admitted that they secretly liked country music, but were afraid that by admitting it, their friends would give them a hard time. "It’s just music, and a lot of people don’t like being told what they can like. If you hear a song and you like it, you like it."
