yMusic have bestowed yet another gift from their sophomore effort Balance Problems: the official video for "Bladed Stance," composed by Marcos Balter and from New Amsterdam Records.

Directed and shot by Dan Huiting with additional footage by Patrick Pierson, the video features stop motion shots of an Icelandic soundscape. Etheral, mesmerizing and at points hauntingly truthful, the imagery creates a world for the intertwined wind and string instruments to live. A halocenegic rainbow lightning storm breaks way to divinatory clouds and a hastly setting sun. Indeed, thoughts of global warming and the finite vastness of Mother Earth come to mind.

Released Sept. 30 on New Amsterdam Records, Balance Problems features compositions by Classicalite faves Sufjan Stevens, Nico Muhly and Timo Andres, as well as works by NOW Ensemble guitarist Mark Dancigers, Chicago timbralist Marcos Balter, Andrew Norman and Jeremy Turner. You can stream the full album here on their Bandcamp page.
