Earlier this month, Miley Cyrus dumped twerking and showed off her new favorite dance, the Nae Nae, while being interviewed on an Australian morning show. The host certainly enjoyed Cyrus' rendition but the dance creators aren't so impressed. We Are Toonz put the pop star on blast and even offered up a tutorial in a short video.

During a tour stop at the Sydney Opera House, Cyrus stopped by the morning show and intrigued the curious news crew when asked about new dance moves. She eagerly put twerking to rest and showed the host how to do the Nae Nae, which she says her dancers taught her.

"They just started doing it and I was like what is that?" she said. "And then I just started doing it, which is kind of what happened with the twerking thing. I try to do it at my shows, and no one's really doing it back at me."

According to We Are Toonz, it's because she isn't doing the dance correctly. In the clip obtained by TMZ, the group gave Cyrus props for introducing the dance to fans overseas but they also added that she should learn to do the dance the right way. From their gestures, it's safe to say, her moves are a little too stiff for their liking.

Although the "Wrecking Ball" singer may not have mastered this move, TMZ noted Arnold Schwarzenegger's side-eye worthy attempt during a visit to BET's 106 & Park.

We Are Toonz are slated to perform at this year's Soul Train Awards airing Nov. 30 at 8 p.m. on Centric and BET.
