Soap vet Eileen Davidson is one of the busiest women working in daytime television. She is currently starring on The Young and the Restless as Ashley Abbott, a character she created back in the 1980s. She is also filming for the upcoming season of Bravo's The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and later this week she will end her run on Days of Our Lives as the mischievous Kristen DiMera. Davidson had signed on to bring DiMera back to Salem for a quick three-month run and her storyline will wrap up Nov. 6 just in time for her debut on Bravo.

Davidson has consistently worked on soaps for more than 30 years, and the chance of her breezing back onto the Days of Our Lives canvas in the near future is high. She is a scene stealer, so CBS and NBC love tapping Davidson's quirky, sarcastic streak and then send her packing, knowing the fans will want her back again soon.

Although Davidson has never actually confirmed that she signed on for the upcoming season of RHOBH, enough has already leaked for us to know she is actively in the mix, clashing with fellow cast members such as Lisa Rinna — also a Days of Our Lives alumna.

Bravo reportedly hired the newest cast members because they knew Davidson and Rinna will bring a built-in soap audience with them right off the bat. While fans love watching their favorites in character, there is always a natural curiosity about their personal lives, so RHOBH will help satisfy some of that.

Are you a fan of Davidson's work? Do you prefer her on Y&R or Days?  Are you anticipating liking her real persona on Bravo even better than the crazy characters she has built her career on? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
