If you have tuned in for any of Tori Spelling's second season of True Tori, which is currently airing on Lifetime, then you already know it feels like a desperate last ditch grab for attention. Unfortunately, Spelling was hoping that by airing her dirty laundry and allowing cameras to film her therapy sessions with cheating husband, Dean McDermott, she would somehow emerge looking like a tower of strength. Instead, she comes across more like an overly dramatic mess with a not-so-secret hoarding problem. The ratings are dismal and now even McDermott says that he is done selling his soul just to pay the bills.

McDermott stopped to chat with Access Hollywood Live earlier today and he confirmed that he has finished filming the reality show.

"I'm not going to continue with the show. We have five more shows left... I can't do this anymore. I can't keep opening a vein, opening my soul and sharing my feelings and thoughts and demons with the world. I don't watch it, I can't. It's really difficult... I can't do it any more, for my soul. The show has been great. I've learned a lot of things about myself, my relationship. It's not all doom and gloom. There's a lot of good in the show. I've learned a lot from this whole process. From the affair, form doing the show... I almost lost everything, everything that means anything to me. I don't want to ever do that again. I don't ever want to be in that dark place again where I wanted to take my life."

There have been rumors that Spelling and McDermott made up the whole affair just to lock Lifetime into a series so that they could continue to financially provide for their kids. It might almost be better if this was the best acting gig of their lives but even then, it has all unraveled right in front of their four kids- which is probably the biggest shame in all of this.

At least with McDermott pulling the plug, Spelling will have to find another idea to pitch and maybe it'll create a healthier environment for all of them, right? Tell us your thoughts on True Tori in the comments below!
