After years and years of delays courtesy of her major label contract, Azealia Banks is finally an independent artist. As such, she was free to release her long delayed debut album Broke With Expensive Taste and she did so yesterday (Nov. 6) by complete and total surprise.

After unveiling the official album artwork and tracklist late last week as a "magic trick" for her fans, Banks actually released Broke With Expensive Taste as a complete surprise, making the announcement on her Twitter before launching the album to iTunes and the streaming service Spotify.

With a simple "voila," the album was released.

Led by the single "Heavy Metal and Reflective," Broke With Expensive Taste features 16 tracks, and Banks is adamant that she curated and produced the album herself, which she explained on her always active Twitter.

Broke With Expensive Taste is Banks’ debut album and has finally been released after over two years’ worth of delays from Banks’ former label Interscope. Stream the album in full below:
