It's time to get funky and fresh... maybe uptown? And who better to show you how than Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars. Today (Nov. 17), the two hitmakers teamed up to release the new music video for their collaborative single "Uptown Funk" from Ronson's forthcoming new album Uptown Special, and the result is just as fun as you could've imagined.
There's little to the music video for "Uptown Funk" except for Mars and Ronson owning a city block and being way cooler than you'll ever be. Wearing a pink suit jacket, black slacks, Mars leads around a pack of friends and fellow singers as they watch the ladies go by, sing to the camera and parade down the street atop a vintage limo, boogeying all the while.
But it's not all funking uptown, Mars and Ronson have to look fresh too, and they get some pampering treatments in the neighborhood as well. All while waving his arms and singing along like the crazy performer he is, Mars gets his shoes shined and hair permed while sitting next to Ronson. And, of course, the producer is playing it as cool as a cucumber, creating a hilarious dichotomy.
But, it's nothing but "Uptown Funk."

"Uptown Funk" is the lead single from Mark Ronson's upcoming fourth studio album Uptown Special, which is due for release in early 2015. This weekend, Mars and Ronson will be on hand on Saturday Night Live to perform the track for the show's Thanksgiving episode alongside host Cameron Diaz.
