We are not quite sure what to make of Apollo Nida's deciding to admit on camera to telling a pack of lies to the entire cast of The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the past few years. He has insisted for the last two seasons that Kenya Moore had been sexting him, basically offering her services — something Nida claimed to shoot down because he loved his wife, Phaedra Parks. In last night's Nov. 16 episode, Nida offered an apology to Moore for lying about her, and when confronted by the rest of the cast he admitted that every sexual advance he claimed she made was a lie.

Obviously, Moore has been vindicated after spending years dealing with non-stop hate from this crew thanks to Nida's lies, but why did he come clean now? Nida has claimed he wanted to make peace with people before he surrendered to prison officials back in September. But was this about him feeling guilty, or was it more like Nida decided to show everyone how dirty and vicious he is because he is going away for eight years anyway?

While Parks has filed for divorce from Nida because of his identity theft conviction, she was also directly affected by this lie about Moore because she believed that the woman was constantly after her husband. It looks like the next episode of RHOA will be heavy on apologies to Moore by just about everyone for treating her so badly, including Parks.

Kenya Moore has said she came back to do a third season of the show because she was looking to repair her damaged reputation. Do you think Nida's honesty will start to do that for her? What is your take on Nida coming clean after all this time? Tell us your thoughts in the comments below.
