It is kind of funny now to think back on Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi's days as a cast member on Jersey Shore. Who would have thought that just a few short years after schlepping around on the boardwalk in slippers, drunk more often than not, she would now be an adult mother of two? Just to sweeten the deal, Polizzi finally married her longtime love Jionni LaValle yesterday, Nov. 29, in New Jersey.
While she may have traded in beer bottles for baby bottles, Polizzi still likes to party, and it seems that no one was left out of yesterday's festivities. The wedding party was 32 people deep and Polizzi and LaValle's guest list had 500 names on it! All of the little kids in her family had a role in the actual ceremony, with Polizzi's 2-year-old son Lorenzo carrying a sign that said, "Daddy here comes mommy" before she walked down the aisle.
Jenni "JWoww" Farley served as a bridesmaid and other Jersey Shore cast mates in attendance included Samantha Giancola and Deena Cortese.
The wedding was done in a Great Gatsby theme and the reception was held at the glitzed-out Venetian in the city of Garfield. Polizzi wore a lace ballgown with a cathedral veil for the ceremony and then changed into a 1930s-era fitted second gown for the reception. According to E!, MTV did film footage from Polizzi's special day to air on her spin-off show with Farley Snooki & JWoww.
Ironically, the chick who partied the hardest on Jersey Shore seems to be the one who has successfully branded herself while also building a happy family life.
