Last month, DJ Mister Cee resigned from Hot 97 for the second time. The radio disc jockey recently announced that he has picked up a new gig at Radio 103.9.

Mister Cee announced his move in a statement released to XXL.

"I am excited, humbled and blessed to be back on the radio with the new Radio 103.9 in New York. To be a part of a new growing station gives me a fresh start in my radio career," he wrote. "Special thanks to Ken Johnson and Raphael George for giving me this opportunity. Also a very special thank-you to Andre Veras aka Dominican Drew for pushing me to be a part of the Radio 103.9 family. I will never, ever forget it."

As noted by HipHopDX, Mister Cee hinted at the possibility of working at a new station upon his departure from Hot 97.

"I would love to continue to be on radio if the opportunity arises," he said. "I would love to do radio whether it's on-air or [other] programming. I would love to take a shot at being a program director or a music director at a radio station. I would love to continue to be in the music industry in any form. If an offer came to me in regards to working at a record label, depending on the situation, I would love to. Music is in my blood. I'm still going to DJ parties. I'm still booked up to DJ parties."

Mister Cee's move to Radio 103.9 is a part of the station's new urban format. In July, Radio 103.9 announced comedian D.L. Hughley and morning show host Tom Joyner would join the station. He made his big debut Saturday, Dec. 13. During his Hot 97 resignation, Mister Cee assured fans there was no looming controversy this time around.

The longtime radio host attempted to resign from Hot 97 in September 2013 after a sexual encounter with a drag queen was exposed. He was arrested on multiple occasions for solicitation of prostitution in New York City. It has been reported that each of these incidents involved transgender prostitutes.

During an interview, he defended his sexuality and adressed letting down his fans. Take a listen after the jump:
