Southern California rejoice -- Beyond Wonderland is coming back. After a yearlong hiatus, the Insomniac produced festival will make its return to Southern California, the spiritual home of Insomniac festivals. Insomniac was unable to find a suitable venue last year after hosting the event in 2013 in the largest outdoor music venue in the United States, the stunning San Manuel Amphitheater.

Beyond Wonderland will take place on March 20th and 21st next year. The location has not been announced yet for 2015. The 2013 edition saw DJs like Afrojack, Arty, David Guetta, Dash Berlin, Steve Angello and Markus Schulz all join the festival. There have not been any hints at who may be playing the festival in 2015.

Beyond Wonderland has continued to host festivals under the same name in the Bay Area of Northern California over the past three years, despite the small break in SoCal. The Northern California edition takes place in September — last year on Sept. 20 and 21. The festival will feature Insomniac's signature installations and performance artists to give the aura of stepping into another world.

Insomniac was founded in the Los Angeles area and formed its flagship festival Electric Daisy Carnival in the city, eventually placing it in the Los Angeles Coliseum, before an underage reveler fatally overdosed on "molly" and the festival was forced to move to Las Vegas. The brand has expanded worldwide, installing festivals in Mexico, Puerto Rico and London, while also taking root all over the United States in New Jersey, Orlando and up and down California.

Watch the announcement video below via Insomniac's YouTube channel and stay tuned for location and lineup news. The festival is 18+ and you can sign up for access to early pre-sale tickets through their website here.
