Complex points out that this is actually the second time "Try Me" has been remixed, following its initial remix featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Remy Ma from October.

And for good measure, here is the music video for the original track:

The original "Try Me" was released as a standalone single in August, while the Ty Dolla $ign and Remy Ma remix appeared on her latest mixtape Sell Sole, which was released in October. Sell Sole was Dej Loaf's second mixtape, following her 2012 debut Just Do It. The 23-year-old rapper has yet to release a studio album.

The overwhelming success of the original version of "Try Me" apparently took Dej Loaf by surprise more than anybody.

"I didn't think that this record would get me known," Dej told The Source. "I didn't think that this was the one. I knew it was a special song but I didn't think it would get this far. I have better music than this ... This is the one that is really attracting everybody and it is amazing and I am just humble about everything and taking it easy every day, like 'Wow.'"
