Rowdy Rebel, Bobby Shmurda and Too Short today released their latest track, titled "She All About The Shmoney," marking the second release this week from the GS9 crew.
This past Monday, Abillyon released "Weight Up" featuring Bobby Shmurda, who is currently waiting to hear the verdict regarding recent criminal charges, alongside other members of the GS9 group.
The new track, "She All About The Shmoney," has Rowdy Rebel in the spotlight, with features from Bobby Shmurda and Too Short, and is available for streaming via SoundCloud. The track was produced by Jahlil Beats who gained fame from his production work on Bobby Shmurda's "Hot N--ga" beat.
Jahlil Beats released an interesting video this past August, which details the making the specific beat and talks about how the song came together, as well as insight to the step by step creative process.
Rowdy Rebel has been featured on an official remix of Shmurda's "Hot N--ga" alongside Faboulous, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes and Yo Gotti, which helped the rapper gain some notoriety. He was signed to Epic Records this past July.
Unfortunately, back in December, Rowdy was arrested, alongside Bobby Shmurda and 13 others associated. The rapper was allegedly involved in a shooting, and then performed afterwards at the Barclays Center wearing the same clothes. Rowdy pleaded not guilty to the charges, and he and other GS9 members are sitting waiting for their trial to go to court.
Despite Rowdy Rebel and Bobby Shmurda awaiting their time in court, it is nice to see the pair releasing music from their vaults. Hopefully we will see this pattern continue, as well as a fair verdict when the pair goes to court.
