Kid Cudi fans, hold on to your seat, because the man on the moon has some great news for you. He has sent out the bat signal to assemble his all-star team of producers to record Man On The Man 3. Fans have been waiting for quite some time for an update on the third edition of his celebrated album series. He sent out a series of tweets to the core of his producers and collaborators on the two previous editions, Emile Haynie, Plain Pat, A-Trak and Dot Da Genius to create MOTM 3.

Cudi shared a photo on Instagram of him and Emile in the studio and the other three have responded to his call to action. Plain Pat & A-Trak responded to Cudi directly, while Dot Da Genius retweeted the call for his talents as a tacit acknowledgment that the project is going to happen.

Man On The Moon 3 would be the first album for the Cleveland rapper since 2014's Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon. More importantly, since fans and critics have been generally lukewarm on his latest two albums, MOTM3 would be the highly anticipated follow up to the second edition in 2010, Man On The Moon 2: Mr. Rager. The original Man On The Moon, was a the breakthrough moment for Kid Cudi and has been the standard for which all subsequent works are judged. We will see if he can match that with MOTM3.
