Big Sean took over social media and the internet as a whole outside of the panicked Northeastern United States when he started cryptically posting on Twitter and Instagram about a project Dark Sky Paradise, noting it was "done." He also managed to get a slew of other artists like Drake, Kanye West, Travi$ Scott, Jhené Aiko, DJ Mustard and others to post the same picture on their Instagrams as well. The "IDFWU" rapper continues the steady stream of information and has posted a link to his website that includes a trailer and release date. He also revealed on Twitter that new music is coming this week.

Dark Sky Paradise is slated for release on Feb. 24. After months of talking about a potential album on radio shows, Sean has locked down the release date and appears to have everything ready to go for the release in just under a month. It is a short amount of time from now until Feb. 24, but that keeps the manageable to create enough hype with innovative content over just under a 30-day span.

The album announcement has been very impressive thus far, combining social media from what appears to be all of the artists featured on the album and a well-crafted, cryptic message that got fans and media buzzing about what could be coming from Big Sean. The trailer is another well-crafted visual that presumably features some new music from Sean.

Sean discussed the meaning of Dark Sky Paradise with Complex for their cover story, referring to his tough past 12 months dealing with personal issues, under performing album and the death of his grandmother, yet things are looking up.

"That title — Dark Sky Paradise — fits it so perfect for me," Sean says. "There were a lot of thunderstorms in my life. A lot of rumbling, a lot of lightning. Then sunshine came."
