Everyone has had those fantasies as a kid, in the midst of a parental argument, of running away and making everything better. And now, in the gorgeous new music video for Carrie Underwood's "Little Toy Guns," those have been brought to life. Today (Jan. 30), the top-earning American Idol alumna released the new music video for her Greatest Hits: Decade #1 single "Little Toy Guns," featuring stunning imagery and a plot filled with escapism.

The music video begins with a married couple having a relatively vague and stereotypical argument. He doesn't help around the house enough, she's a major nag and neither knows why they're still in the relationship after all these years.

Pan to a little girl's bedroom, which happens to be just behind the argument in question. There's a small child in the room, overhearing every single word of her parents' broken love and crumbling herself.

And now it's time for her to run away to a fantasy land.

Suddenly, our protagonist child is in a lush woods, surrounded by golden leaves, a sky and the ever-beautiful Carrie Underwood, who narrates the story while carefully concealing her baby bump with jackets and scarves.

Dressed now in Little Red Riding Hood-esque cloaks, the girl wanders through the forest, searching out her parents. She finds her father, leading him to her mother before performing a recommitment ceremony of sorts, placing their hands together in the lush settings.

Then, it's back to the real world, which has become slightly more enchanted as the girl's plot comes to life, binding her parents back together in love.

The music video premiered on Underwood's Facebook, but check it out below:
