Lady Gaga Tony Bennett joined forces for a performance of "Cheek to Cheek" off their album of the same name, which won the Grammy for Traditional Pop Vocal Album earlier in the evening. Although a seemingly odd pairing, the two acted like best friends on stage for their duet, dancing hand in hand with Gaga channeling Jessica Rabbit with her long black dress, diamond jewelry, and wavy white locks and Bennett dressed in a suit and tie.

On E!'s broadcast of the Red Carpet, Gaga told Ryan Seacrest how excited she and Bennett were to have won the award.

"I'm singing songs by the greatest songwriters in the history of American music," she told him. "And, I'm singing them with this incredible man and we're just so happy to be here tonight. And, we're so proud to win this Grammy."

Bennett addressed their odd pairing, explaining to Seacrest that they have a similar background that connects them.

"We get along great," he said. "We're both Italian-Americans and we understand one another."

"You think it's funny but it's true," Lady Gaga added. "Most of the time when we're hanging out, we're always in the corner laughing and everyone's going 'What are they talking about?'"

Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett were just two of many artists to perform at the ceremony tonight.
