Rihanna didn't need any of the choirs that many of the other performers at the 2015 Grammy Awards...she had enough soul...and Kanye West and Paul McCartney onstage with herself. West took to the stage for a second time to collaborate with RiRi and Macca for the trio's new hit "FourFiveSeconds."

West made himself heard but Rihanna was in charge and she seemed to know it...staring intensely into the audience as she's been known to do. McCartney, God bless him, obviously played a huge role in the writing of the song but he just doesn't have the gusto to go up against Rihanna (and to be fair, most people aren't going to be able to compete with those pipes).

It was an interesting night for West, who had two separate performances of course, both of which were relatively minimalistic in comparison with the performer's "trademark" sound, which can only be described as big, especially in the era of Yeezus.

Although this performance may not have to do with this subject matter, there's little doubt that the biggest news to be made in the world outside of The Grammys (and somewhat inside that world as well) was the announcement by West that he would be producing Rihanna's next album. That combination makes choosing a most-anticipated album list pretty easy.

Performances from: Sia, Beck, Chris Martin, Sam Smith, Mary J. Blige, Beyoncé, Common, John Legend and more remain.
