Following her Super Bowl collaboration with Katy Perry, Missy Elliott announced that she was heading back to the studio with her partner-in-crime and longtime producer Timbaland to cook up some new music. "We gonna get in and get some work done," she told Sway Calloway on his morning show. "I don't want to say too much because this day and time, boy, you say something, they will come back two weeks later like, 'Where your album at?!'" Now she has fans even more excited with photo evidence of her and Timbaland back in the studio.

"Me & @Timbaland bk 2 the drawing board studio dirty beats!" she tweeted.

The last time the dynamic duo worked together was on Elliott's 2005 album, The Cookbook.

Ten years later, it looks like Elliott's still got it. Earlier today Diplo posted a snippet of her upcoming remix to Jack Ü's (Diplo and Skrillex) Kieza-featuring dance hit "Take Ü There" to his Snapchat story.

Elliott's albums and songs got a 2,500 percent sales boost following the Super Bowl Halftime show, where she performed her hits "Get Your Freak On," "Work It," and "Lose Control." She also got an overall 676 percent increase in steams on Spotify following her performance.

A day after the Super Bowl, Elliott joked with fans too young to have heard her in her heyday on Twitter saying, "I think it's cool new kids think I'm a new artist that goes to show u that I'm still on [fire emjoi] & will rip down stages 20 years later. Seeing my songs in the top 10 & albums bk on the charts makes me so humbed! Thank y'all shows that real music is TIMELESS."
