Muse's new album Drones seems to be coming more and more into completion. After releasing a series of Instagram videos featuring audio from in-studio sessions for its The 2nd Law follow-up yesterday (Feb. 25), the "Madness" band unveiled the first bit of music from it new album, and it sounds like Muse is going into classic rock 'n' roll territory.

In the latest Instagram video continues to feature an image of the three Muse members on the cover of NME, with their eyes and headlines blacked out in marker. There's also studio audio of the band discussing what to do for its seventh studio album.

"I'm hearing Dom [Howard] really loudly. I'm only really hearing Dom," Matt Bellamy says in the promo, before the rush of music kicks in.

And while the drums are heavy, there's no denying that there's a lot of kick and clout in the guitar work on the teased track too. In a riff reminiscent of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love," Muse are heavy-handed and deep in the strings, riffing together before they kick in by shouting, what else, "Drones!"
