North West has to be hands down the most famous celebrity toddler around. Kim Kardashian is often making sure we catch a glimpse of her daughter, so much so that she is often jokingly referred to as an accessory. She and Kanye West think so highly of their daughter that they believe she belongs at events like New York Fashion Week, and she already travels like a rock star. All of these things make it seem kind of bizarre when the couple suddenly decides to protect North's privacy and preserve her childhood, doesn't it?

Well, according to a report by Radar Online, the parents have drawn a firm line in the sand when it comes to having North parading around on reality shows. While Kris Jenner just spent months negotiating a new, four-year deal for the Kardashians with E!, her granddaughter was never part of that equation.

"It was a no-go from the very beginning because Kim and Kanye made it clear North wasn't going to be up for discussion. They want North to have some privacy and be able to be a child away from the cameras. There will be times when North will be included in a group setting, where it's impossible to edit her out, but she won't be on the show on even a semi-regular basis. E! offered big money to have North included, but her parents turned it down," explained the insider.

Why do you think it is that Kardashian and West have decided to keep their daughter out of the glare of reality television? Sure they claim to want to preserve her childhood, but let's be real, this kid has been seated in the front row for fashion week shows! That is hardly something that seems age-appropriate for a 20-month-old, don't you think? What is the real deal here? Tell us your thoughts in the comments section below.
