It's been more than two years since Rihanna has dropped a new album, but now we are getting another taste of what's to come on the follow-up to 2012's Unapologetic. More than a month after releasing her "FourFiveSeconds" collaboration with Paul McCartney and Kanye West, she took to Instagram to share two teasers for her new song "Higher."

The soulful track features Rihanna singing in a raspy voice over sparse, classical strings.

"This whiskey got me feeling pretty / So pardon if I'm impolite / I just really need your ass with me," she sings on the first clip before launching into, "Higher, higher than I've ever been babe / Just come over, let's pour a drink, babe / I hope I ain't calling you too late," on the second clip.

Additionally, Rihanna gave fans preview of her new song "Towards The Sun," which is featured on the soundtrack for DreamWorks' film Home. The full song is now out on iTunes.

She also shared a trailer for NCAA March Madness basketball tournament, which features her new song "American Oxygen."

Back in November, Rihanna announced she was working on new music, and shared a song in which she sings over loud, ominous sirens, "Ain't none of this sh*t promised, ain't none of this promised / Ain't none of this sh*t certain, ain't none of it certain."

From everything we've heard thus far, RiRi's eighth studio album is shaping up to be pretty awesome.
