If you're sick of the 10-week long No. 1 single in America "Uptown Funk," then maybe this new remix will give you rejuvenated love of the Uptown Special single. Today (March 13), Trinidad James jumped on the Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars cut with an official new version.

The new "Uptown Funk" kicks off fresh with James rapping, following Mars' suit by really feelin' himself.

"I'm an A-town player turned uptown pimp / You see this whip / Eddie Murphy red leather, pass on Hammer I'm too legit / Oh, my hair's so gorgeous / Make them girls so sick," James raps. He also name-checks Beyoncé, Jim and Pam from The Office, Def Jam and liking himself on Instagram.

So, you know, there's plenty of room for his ego left.

It's sassy and fiery and right in the vain of what "Uptown Funk" is all about.

So, why James? As Billboard notes, James is actually credited as a songwriter on "Uptown Funk" under his real name Nicholas Williams. The reason? The hot line "Don't believe me just watch," which James trademarked in his smash hit "All Gold Everything."

The new remix of "Uptown Funk" is expected to give a new sense of renewal to the single. It's set to be serviced to urban radio stations on March 16.
