Liam Gallagher seems to be on speaking terms with his brother Noel Gallagher. The former Beady Eye singer shared a photo on Twitter of him holding up a backstage pass to one of his brother's recent gigs with the High Flying Birds. Although an Oasis reunion is unlikely anytime soon, there is still some hope lingering.

"Keeping it in the family," the tweet read.

Oasis fans should take a deep breath, though. While Liam seems to have some extra time on his hands nowadays since Beady Eye disbanded in October, his brother remains busy. Noel is fresh off the release of his second solo effort, Chasing Yesterday, which dropped earlier this month. He is currently touring in the United Kingdom and Europe, making his way to North America in May. He has dates scheduled until July.

There is also the issue that, according to Noel, an Oasis reunion show would cost a fortune for whoever decided to put it on.

"Nobody has made us an offer. I've been in the same room as Liam, and even then nobody's said, 'Weren't Oasis great? You should reform.' But if I was ever going to do it, it would only be for the money. This isn't me putting it out there, by the way. Would I do it for charity? No way. We're not that kind of people," he told Q Magazine recently, adding that Glastonbury organizer Michael Eavis does not have enough money to offer the group.

Back in 2011, Liam said the thought of a reunion with his former band made him sick.

"Thinking about touring with Oasis again in 10 years makes me vomit. What would a reunion be good for? Why would you break up a band just to come back together and play old songs?" he said.
