Jay Z and Jack White have finally teamed up at long last. (It's just the collaboration you didn't know you needed.) Just a few months shy of Hova's two-year Magna Carta... Holy Grail anniversary, today (March 18), the rapper/mogul and White announced that they'll be partnering up for a special, limited edition vinyl release of Jay Z's 12th studio album.

The vinyl edition of Magna Carta... Holy Grail will be released on Thursday, March 20, according to Pitchfork, in coordination with the expansion of White's Third Man Records store in Nashville.

White has long promised to release the vinyl version of Magna Carta, and of course it's not just a normal black, round LP. Playing off the album's themes of "redacted government documents," the Third Man Records version of Magna Carta... Holy Grail will come as eight 7" records all contained in a cloth binder. The album will also come with scratch off-able pages that will contain song lyrics and behind-the-scenes album photos. The set will also include a mirror to read reversed album lyrics.

How high concept!

Fans of White's and Jay Z's will have to scramble to get what sounds like one of the most interesting vinyl collections White has put together - there are only 1000 copies available. Each copy of Magna Carta... Holy Grail will be numbered.

Magna Carta... Holy Grail's vinyl collection will drop on Friday, March 20, a little less than two years after the album itself dropped on July 4, 2013.
