Former American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert shared a sneak peak of "Ghost Town," a song off of his much-anticipated third studio album Original High on Instagram.

The short clip shows Lambert moving his head and staring into the camera while a whistle plays in the background with house music. There are no vocals on the track, but anyone can assume that Lambert's going to bring it with his powerful voice that almost got him the win on American Idol season 8 in 2009. The music is definitely different than Lambert's previous heavy pop-rock songs like "For Your Entertainment" off of his same-titled album in 2009.

The last album Lambert released was 2012's Trespassing. Immediately after, the pop singer began to prepare for a tour with Queen. He took up the task of being the lead singer in concert, replacing beloved former frontman Freddie Mercury. Lambert generally got positive reviews for his performance by fans, but he knew that no one could ever replace Mercury.

"It's not an easy feat," Lambert told Rolling Stone about filling Mercury's shoes. "I think a lot of the apprehension has faded because we've done this a number of times in the past couple of years. That's not to suggest I'm getting cocky at all, because I will never compare to Freddie Mercury. He's one in a million. At this point, I know how to strike a balance between honoring the way these songs were originally meant to be sung and my own instincts, my own choices."

Lambert got the remaining Queen band members' attention when he gave an impressive performance of "Bohemian Rhapsody" on Idol. He then reunited with them again at the end of the season to practice and the rest is history.

Because of his tour with Queen, his Original High might be influenced by the iconic rock band. We hope so, at least. "Ghost Town" comes out on April 21.
