Darius Rucker's new album Southern Style, is set to release March 31. In anticipation for the album drop, Rucker revealed the upcoming tour dates and named a few of his favorite tracks off the new album.
The Hootie and the Blowfish singer stopped by the Taste of Country Nights studio, to discuss his new album with host Sam Alex. Rucker shared his excitement over the new album and a few of his favorite songs--though he admits it's hard to choose.
"I love so many of them," he told Alex. He named a few songs, "Southern Style" and "Good for a Good Time," and then added,
"There's just tons of 'em. I love the whole record...It's hard to pick one."
Southern Style will be Rucker's fifth solo album and fourth country album. The album's tour is set to kick off May 14 in New Jersey.
"It's gonna be boys night out, ya know. It's gonna be a good time. I wanted to put together a show for people - get your money's worth," Rucker told Alex. "When all those bands said yeah we were so happy. I just can't wait to get out with those guys and have a good time and play some good music."
