Fans of The Real Housewives of Atlanta have really had a front row seat this season to watch as Phaedra Parks' marriage to Apollo Nida has crashed and burned. The reality star spent a few months living in fear of what he was capable of after he threatened to hurt her and burn their house down. She is beyond relieved to know that he is locked safely away in a prison cell but now comes the difficult task of divorcing him. Parks has found support in some unusual places while her supposed bestie, Kandi Buress has kept her distance a bit. Even RHOA newcomer Claudia Jordan seems to sincerely care about how she's doing.

In a preview clip released by Bravo, during a chat with Jordan over lunch, Parks starts to breakdown.

"I just see this as a major trial. Just got to get through it, but I've got to surround myself with people who have my back. Obviously, it's very tough because it affects my kids so much. You have all kind of weird stares, and my older son is very much traumatized, asking those very hard questions like, 'Can we apologize and make it better?' You can't explain that. It's just unfair that my innocent children will have the whole world looking at them sideways because of something that their father did," explains Parks.

Parks and Nida have two very small boys and at least as far as we know, they still haven't visited their father in his Kentucky prison. She has gone on the record about her concerns that if she regularly brings her son to a jailhouse they will be raised to think that it's a normal place to be. Parks is all about manners and acting appropriately so she has no intention of purposely raising potential convicts.

The most stunning thing about this is that Parks actually drops her guard just a little bit with Jordan. All season long we have watched her exhibit grace under fire and calmness even while dealing with one of Nida's rampages. She has to be struggling with things to even show a slight crack in the facade, don't you think?
