In one of the more surprising joint-shows announced so far this year, bass music don Skrillex and eclectic electronic producer Four Tet have teamed up for a new show next week in London. The show will take place at the 500-capacity Underground in Camden, London on April 5. Tickets will only be made available through a ballot system, which you can sign up for here. Lucky fans will be told via email if they were chosen and, if so, they will have 24 hours to redeem their secure ticket link from 10 a.m. on April 1. Sign up for your chance to get tickets here.

While the ticket date might be a little off-putting, everything points to this being an official show. The show is being promoted by local promoter, Eat Your Own Years, who is doing shows for artists like Chilly Gonzalez and Twin Shadow.

Skrillex has shown in the past that he is not afraid to step outside of his comfort zone and try to collaborate with different artists. While this is not an official producer collab, the show requires the pair to be on the same page. He has worked with the likes of A$AP Rocky, The Doors, Korn and most recently, Justin Bieber, with Diplo as Jack Ü on their recent surprise album Diplo and Skrillex present Jack Ü.

On Friday night, Four Tet took over the BBC Radio One Essential Mix airwaves with James xx, ahead of his debut album, In Colour, for a special back-to-back edition of the revered mix show. You can listen to the essential mix over on the BBC.
