One of the most talked about and highly anticipated music documentaries has finally received its first trailer. After plenty of buzz, fans have finally gotten the first glimpse of Amy, the Amy Winehouse documentary, and it shows the story of the "Rehab" singer that never saw herself prepared for the pressures of superstardom.

The trailer begins with pre-fame Winehouse, with grainy at-home footage showing her smiling and talking as she narrates about her love of music in old interview footage.

"Singing has always been important to me. I never thought I'd end up singing or being a singer. I thought I'm just lucky that it's something I can always do if I want to. I'm so lucky like that," she says.

But, soon, the pressures of fame got to Winehouse, who just wanted to write songs that reflected her sense of self and personal struggles. As she talks about her hopes and dreams in the industry, cameras start flashing and the paparazzi follow the increasingly troubled starlet.

Winehouse died of alcohol poisoning in 2011, at the age of 27.

It's haunting and ominous, and just as intriguing as Winehouse herself.

Amy, while initially just slated for a United Kingdom premiere, will now be getting distribution in the United States. According to The Hollywood Reporter, film company A24 has acquired the rights to the film, which was directed by Asif Kapadia. Amy will be released on July 3 in the U.K. It's set for release this summer in the U.S.
