If you listen to Marc Maron's wildly popular WTF With Marc Maron podcast, then you already know the comedian is a huge fan of The Rolling Stones. The podcaster uploaded a new episode today, April 2, and for 10 brief minutes Maron talked to frontman Mick Jagger. The comedian, usually full of complaints and gripes, sounded ecstatic during the interview, Consequence of Sound noted.

Jagger called in to the show to talk about the band's upcoming Sticky Fingers reissue and Zip Code Tour. The singer revealed that the band is planning to play a few rarities from the 1971 album like "Sister Morphine."

"It might work, and it might not," Jagger said. "It's got quite a few slow songs on it. Maybe it'll work; you gotta see."

Maron told Jagger that he hasn't seen the Stones since 1983, to which the singer responded with an offer to come to the band's show in San Diego May 24. Fans can listen to the interview for free on Maron's website.

A recent conversation with Rolling Stone confirmed that the band is toying with the idea of playing Sticky Fingers live in its entirety.

"It's a really great album," Jagger said. "But it has a lot of slow songs. Normally in a show we'd just do one or two ballads. Sticky Fingers has about five slow songs. I'm just worried that it might be problematic in stadiums. Maybe we'd play it and everyone would say, 'Great,' but maybe they'll get restless and start going to get drinks."

Maron started his podcast in 2009. Many famous comedians and friends of Maron have been on the show, including David Cross, Robin Williams and Ben Stiller. He has also had musicians on WTF like Tenacious D, Dave Grohl and Iggy Pop. Conversations with Rhett Miller of the Old 97's, Chrissie Hynde of The Pretenders and St. Vincent are available for free on Maron's website.
