There is no love lost between Kanye West and the paparazzi that follow him everywhere, even to funerals. This relationship hit rock bottom when Kanye assaulted a paparazzi at LAX in 2013 and the plaintiff, Daniel Ramos filed a civil suit against Kanye. According to TMZ, after two years of depositions, community service and more legal jousting, the case has at last been settled. As part of the deal, 'Ye had to meet face-to-face with the photog and apologize to him. As one might expect, someone was there to capture the genuine moment via Complex.

It is unknown if any money changed hands, but it would seem unlikely if Ramos didn't get a few bucks out of this ordeal.

Ramos' lawyer Gloria Allred was adamant about the apology and wanted this case to bring a sense of justice in a sort of David vs. Goliath way.

"We believe that this case sent an important message. Celebrities are not above the law, and they have no right to physically attack someone simply because they were asked a question," reasoned Allred.

This toxic relationship came to a head in 2013, when the "All Day" rapper was accosted after flying into LAX and he lashed out a photog who was goading him to try and say something on video. Kanye had none of it and assaulted the photographer with the camera rolling.

The rapper is still on probation as a result of the case and is doing lectures at various fashion classes, a task he seems to be enjoying, as part of his court-mandated community service. He just received a doctorate from the Art Institute Of Chicago in honor of his speech there.
