The late Marvin Hamlisch will be paid tribute this month by the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) and Maestro Jack Everly in Maryland.

Jack Everly will lead the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra on Thursday, January 23 at 8 p.m. at the Music Center at Strathmore, as well as on Friday, January 24 and Saturday, January 25.

On Sunday, January 26 at 3 p.m., the party moves to Baltimore proper's Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The performance will also feature lead singer Marissa McGowan.

This wouldn't be the first time we hear about the didactic composer being publicly fêted. Vocal legend Barbara Streisand paid tribute at the 2013 Academy Awards with her performance of "The Way We Were" and in the PBS documentary What He Did for Love.
