Another online challenge has started to go viral, and Gwyneth Paltrow will be the first celebrity to give it a shot. For one week, she will live off of $29 in food stamps to better understand the lives of those who use them regularly.

The Shallow Hal star posted a photo of groceries to Facebook with her challenge acceptance to experience another person's living situation.

"This is what $29 gets you at the grocery store -- and this is what families who rely on SNAP have to live on for a week. We're going to walk in their shoes and see how far we get," Newsday noted.

Food stamps, formerly the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, provides aid to low-income families. Chef Mario Batali heavily promotes the #FoodBankNYCChallenge, which asks its challengers to live off of $1.38 per meal.

"For one week, walk in someone else's shoes. Knowledge is power, and by truly understanding what our friends and neighbors are going through, we will be better equipped to find solutions," Batali wrote on the Food Bank for New York City website.

The 54-year-old celebrity chef leads the challenge with the objective to better educate the public on hunger and poverty by daring people to attempt living on a SNAP budget.

In addition to the challenge, Paltrow plans to make a #CanDoNYC donation to the Food Bank.
